About the game

  1. Your streaming service. Your stars. Your decisions.

A promising screenplay, an expensive first-choice star and a board that wants results: which production gets the green light? In Streaming Tycoon, you build your own streaming service. Produce films, series and shows, attract subscribers and decide how to run your company, week by week.

  2. Build a catalogue viewers want to keep watching

Acquire streaming licences, develop original productions and shape your catalogue. Programmes wear out with audiences: decide what stays on air, what rests in the archive and which new release earns a prime spot. Connect programming, subscription pricing, marketing and streaming capacity into your strategy.

  3. From screenplay to premiere

Hire writers and commission new material. Choose the production scale and studio, cast roles and negotiate fees. A failed negotiation can cost you your first-choice performer; an expensive contract leaves less money for the rest of the production. Buy studios, improve their equipment and respond to setbacks during filming. At the premiere, discover how critics and audiences receive your work. Continue successful series with further seasons.

  4. Talent has a career

Build your talent agency and sign actors and directors for the long term. Follow their skills, fame, age and contracts. Outside bookings can earn commission, but make a performer unavailable for your own projects while they are filming. Weigh income today against the cast you need for your next big release.

  5. Success changes the business. Mistakes do too.

A familiar title can lose its audience. An expensive production can disappoint. Rivals compete for viewers, rights and talent while the board judges your results. Hire staff, plan finances and investments, negotiate your own salary and buy company shares. Develop your management skills and hold your ground in struggles for control of the company.

  6. Find your way in

Mara guides you through the opening decisions in English or German. The player handbook provides a reference when you need it. Streaming Tycoon is a single-player management game for Windows, with a simulation that advances in game weeks.

The player handbook

Build a streaming service. Make its programmes. Manage the people who make them. Keep the company solvent long enough to take the credit.

Every part of the game for reference, the same handbook that comes with the game.
